🧠 Agents & Intelligence

Gamedev AI is more than just a chat that writes code. It is powered by a cutting-edge agent architecture based on autonomous development best practices, allowing the assistant to act methodically, proactively, and context-aware.

🎭 Specialist Personas (Dynamic Routing)

The AI automatically identifies your goal based on the conversation and assumes a specific "Persona." This ensures the prompt stays focused on what matters, saving tokens and increasing precision.

  • Godot Expert: The general assistant for game logic and structure.
  • UI/UX Designer: Focused on Control nodes, anchors, and responsive layouts.
  • Technical Artist: Specialist in Shaders, particles, and visual effects.
  • Multiplayer Engineer: Focused on networking, RPCs, and synchronization.

TIP

You can trigger a persona by mentioning keywords like "I need a menu (UI)" or "I'm making a shader."

⛩️ Socratic Gate (Stop & Ask)

To avoid generating massive, generic code that might not fit your project, the AI implements the Socratic Gate.

Whenever you request something complex (e.g., "Create an inventory system"), the AI will:

  1. Stop code generation.
  2. Ask at least 2 trade-off or edge-case questions (e.g., "Slot-based or weight-based?", "Does it need database persistence?").
  3. Execute only after your clarification.

⌨️ Slash Command Workflows

You can use direct commands to instantly change the AI's behavior:

  • /brainstorm: The AI enters discovery mode. It won't write code; it will only help plan architecture, GDD, and logic.
  • /plan: Focused on structuring folders and scenes before coding.
  • /debug: Deep investigation mode. Focuses only on error logs and root causes.

🔍 Auto-Audit (Autonomous Refinement)

After making complex changes, the AI has the autonomy to run audit tools (audit_script, audit_scene) to check for syntax errors or orphan references before considering the task complete. This ensures a much shorter feedback loop and more stable code.
